Every Oaklight garden room is covered by a 10-year structural warranty. The full terms are explained at quote stage and included in your paperwork.

When your build is finished we walk you through the space, explain how everything works and answer any questions before we leave.
Maintenance guidance
Clear, practical advice on looking after your cladding, roof, glazing and heating, so your room stays in great condition for years.

Optional check-ups
Want peace of mind? Optional check-up visits are available on request to look over your room and advise on any upkeep.
Home extensions
Warranty terms for extensions are set out clearly in your quotation, and your Building Control completion certificate confirms the work meets Building Regulations.
Looking after your garden room
A few simple habits keep your room looking and performing at its best:
- Clear leaves and debris from the roof and gutters in spring and autumn
- Wash composite cladding with warm soapy water; treat cedar as advised for its finish
- Keep vents clear and open a window regularly to let moisture out
- In winter, keep the heating on low rather than letting the room go cold and damp
- Check door and window seals, and keep hinges and locks lightly lubricated
- Keep soil, plants and stored items away from the base and cladding
